GSE 05-22 Increase in Subsistence & Vouched Meal Expenses

Description
Following discussions at the National Executive Council (NEC) it has been agreed to accept proposals brought forward by the Joint Conciliation Council (JCC) to increase the subsistence rates and daily vouched meal expenses by 10%.
The details of the new provisions are outlined in the Agreed Report, as attached, but in summary the subsistence rates for Day Allowance (Category 1&2) and Night Allowance (Category 1&2) will increase by 10% over 3 years (capped at Revenue rates), effective from 01 July 2022.
In addition, the agreement provides for a once-off 10% increase in the current daily Vouched Meal expenses rate of €12 to increase to €13.20, effective from 01 July 2022.
