GSP 18-20 Retail Workwear Update

The 2020 Post Office Clerk Workwear rollout will take place in mid-October this year.

Online ordering has already commenced, and Tailored Image will start processing orders once all orders have been submitted.

Please note if orders are submitted on time by our Members, the Uniform tailors are hopeful of an earlier roll out date.

The Union raised the dissatisfaction of some of our members with the current trousers and skirts.  As a result, the Company trialed some garments at the new concept offices.   Following feedback from the staff involved the preferred garments are now included in the 2020 rollout.

The material currently used for the workwear jacket is no longer available, so the closest possible match has been sourced.

All branded garments will now have the new An Post logo.  However, Clerks can continue to wear their current garments until the end of the year when everything bearing the old An Post logo will be recalled.

The wearing of a tie by male clerks in now optional and there are also enhancements to the shirt collar that make it a better look when worn open.

It is also intended to update the knitwear for the 2020 roll out.
