GSP 07-25   ICTU Action Plan on Collective Bargaining – Respect at Work

29/August/2025

Description

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU), as part of an action plan on Collective Bargaining, has organised a national week of action for workers’ rights. Following the unanimous endorsement of the CWU motion at the ICTU conference in Belfast, ICTU affiliated unions are supportive of the Respect at Work campaign calling for new laws to promote

collective bargaining, protect trade union members from victimisation, and guarantee every worker the right to access their union at work.

Now, you can play a powerful role and Help Us Strengthen Workers’ Rights – One Signature at a Time!

All CWU members working on the front line of An Post in retail, on deliveries and elsewhere can speak directly to members of the public and get their support. In the interaction with the public, I am asking you to encourage them to sign the petition and to help us secure stronger rights for all workers.
