Description
The past year has been an extremely difficult year for us all and has been even more so for those of us who have lost loved ones and friends through these difficult months. The normal human responses of paying our respects and celebrating the lives of people have been near impossible due to the pandemic, leaving the feeling that we have not been able to say a proper goodbye.
With the current Covid restrictions, it has been very difficult to keep up to date with news of the passing of members and retired members. This information has always been important to members as it allowed us to pay our respects to our deceased comrades. To address this, the next edition of Connect will feature a tribute to all members both active and retired who are deceased since the beginning of the Covid pandemic.
Therefore, I would be obliged if you could furnish us with the details of any member or retired member who has passed in the last twelve months so that we can include them in this tribute. If you could send the details to Lorraine@cwu.ie or 01 8663014.
