GSG 14-25 ICTU Action Plan on Collective Bargaining – Respect at Work

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU), as part of an action plan on Collective Bargaining, has organised a national week of action for workers’ rights. Following the unanimous endorsement of the CWU motion at the ICTU conference in Belfast, ICTU affiliated unions are supportive of the Respect at Work campaign calling for new laws to promote collective bargaining, protect trade union members from victimisation, and guarantee every worker the right to access their union at work.

Now, you can play a powerful role and Help Us Strengthen Workers’ Rights – One Signature at a Time!

I am asking that anyone who has not yet signed the Respect at Work petition to please do so – and more importantly to get your family and friends to do the same. Every signature counts and we want to send Minister Burke a clear message to strengthen workers’ rights.

This is about building a fairer, safer workplace for everyone. Over 89 TDs have already pledged support, including Minister Peter Burke who has an obligation under the EU Directive and responsibility for the Action Plan on Collective Bargaining that this campaign is fighting for.

Let’s show them that your family and friends support you as a union member.
