GSE 10-20 eir Flu Vaccine Programme

Description
With the flu season upon us, we wish to advise our members of the eir flu vaccine initiative which is part of their wellness programme. eir will issue a payment to staff to cover the cost of the vaccine which is due in the October payment run. That said employees are encouraged to book their vaccine well in advance of this payment as demand for the vaccine is extremely high.
Members are asked to book their vaccine privately with their local GP/Pharmacy. Line management will also be engaging with staff and local pharmacies to try and secure places for those availing of the vaccine.
The eir Wellness programme will also issue approximately 360 vaccines from the 6th of October, however places are limited.
We would ask members to fully engage with this initiative from eir as there is an onus on all of us to protect our health.
Should any member have queries or concerns about the vaccine they should raise these directly with their GP. Further information is also available from the HSE website.
