The win comes on the back of a worker led organising campaign that began in March 2022. Workers identified three main objectives as part of their campaign.
- Collective Bargaining
- Sick Pay
- Living wage €12.90
All three of the objectives have now been achieved and has resulted in workers seeing their pay packets increase by up to 20%.
This is the first DPD Depot in Ireland to organise their workplace and is the result of the hard work and commitment of CWU members in Kerry.
