Covid-19 (Corona Virus) precautionary steps relating to Installations
The safety and well being of all of our staff and customers, is of paramount importance. While Ireland is still in a containment phase and seen to be at a low to moderate risk, we can all do our bit to try to contain the spread of the virus by taking simple measures each and every day, mainly washing/sanitising your hands frequently throughout the day, avoiding physical contact with others and maintaining social distancing, where at all possible.
Additional supplies of Handwipes/Nitryl Gloves and hand sanitiser are being distributed to all staff and should be used.
In addition we are implementing the following temporary measures;
- You should avoid physical contact with any customers i.e. hand shake, greeting
- We are suspending the need to have the customer sign the iPad, you should select “CNP” our “signed on customer behalf” depending on which app you are using, this is to eliminate the need for the customer to touch the iPad
- We will be implementing additional questions at pre-call to identify customers that might be at risk i.e. travelled from an existing at risk country or have been in touch with someone who has. Where risk is identified, the install will be postponed as a precaution.
If you yourself have recently travelled/returned to/from one of the affected areas, or have been in contact with someone who has, please notify your line manager for advice.
Remember, the likelihood of contracting this virus is still low, you would need to be in close proximity of an infected person for 10 to 15 minutes and have physically transferred the virus by touch or by particles transferred in fluids from a cough. If we all exercise a degree of caution and maintain good hygiene practices we will dramatically reduce the risk of spreading.
We are monitoring the situation daily and will update you as advice is issued from the HSE. Click here for updates from the HSE
Rest assured KN are working with Government guidelines to ensure we take the appropriate action to ensure the safety and well being of our staff and customers.
