Vigil outside US Embassy, Ballsbridge, Dublin – No War on Iran

Organised by the Peace and Neutrality Alliance
The targeted assassination of Qassem Suleimani, head of Iran’s elite Quds force; and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the Deputy Commander of Iran backed militias, the Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF), that is in effect the army of Iraq is designed to provoke fear and division, and to escalate tension throughout the Middle East.
The President of the Peace and Neutrality Alliance (PANA) Jimmy Kelly has welcomed
the decision of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) who have now agreed to inform all affiliated unions about our Vigil that will be held outside the US Embassy in Dublin this Thursday at 7pm.
This Vigil is calling for ‘No War on Iran’, and demanding the Irish government act now by withdrawing permission for US war planes to refuel at Shannon airport on their way to their never-ending wars.
