Welcome to the section of our website which is dedicated exclusively to serving the interests of our members in IBM. This section is a resource designed to provide you with useful information and regular updates on issues which the CWU is pursuing on your behalf.

IBM is one of the country’s leading providers of information technology products, services and consulting expertise. The Company opened its first office in Ireland in 1956 and the CWU gained its first group of IBM members following the transfer of technology staff from Telefónica O2 Ireland to IBM in 2008 when O2 decided to outsource its technology operations.

The CWU continues to advise, guide and represent this group of members on an individual basis and is happy to welcome new members from the rest of the IBM operation.

Our aim is to develop this site to meet your needs so please let us know how this can best be achieved. Any ideas regarding the type of information that might be usefully provided are welcome.
