Rates

As per the rules of the CWU, there are three scales that apply to groups of staff that enjoy collective bargaining and negotiation rights. The National Executive Council agreed that the Union should have a reduced rate for members in companies where there are no negotiating or collective bargaining arrangements.

Every member shall pay contributions in accordance with the scale to which the person is assigned by the National Executive Council. A member must complete an authorisation form so as to arrange to have union contributions deducted from pay or debited from his/her bank/building society account etc as appropriate.
